Text Box: The Mission of Metzenbaum Sheltered Industries Incorporated is: 1. To provide employment opportunities to the mentally retarded and developmental disabled citizens of Geauga County, Ohio who qualify and wish to be employed. 2. To provide vocational habilitation services to the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled citizens of Geauga County, Ohio who qualify and wish to benefit from these services. 3. To provide quality sub-contracted labor for competitive prices. 4. To provide work to the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled citizens of Geauga County, Ohio under a controlled, safe working environment that will provide the opportunity to earn wages and increase self-esteem. 5. Work input will be solicited from nearby businesses and work output will be closely monitored by the Geauga County Board Staff with the intent of increasing average earnings and reducing downtime.
